The 16th Birthday Celebration of My Dreams
For sixteen years, I have always been a daydreamer. On a daily basis, I tend to visualize scenes I want to happen in real life. I have even imagined of a perfect birthday celebration where I got to share my blessings with other people, as well as the friends whom I celebrated my birthday with. Fortunately all those came to life on my sweet sixteenth special thanks to atsi Patricia Rivera of The Heart at Play Foundation :)
My 16th birthday turned out very different from my past birthday celebrations. Instead of celebrating it with friends and family, I felt the itch to alter my annual birthday tradition. This time, I decided to host a mini birthday party with all the people I love, including the special children from The Heart at Play. Since my birthday was set on a -ber month and the Christmas season was fast approaching, extending my blessings to the ones who needed it most and making a difference to their lives from small steps to big strides were the only ways I could think of.
Aside from the special children, I invited my friends to spend the milestone with me as well. Since the event was held on a school day, we were required to watch the WNCAA competition in Makati Coliseum. Nevertheless, I was still able to ask permission for an earlier dismissal to the teacher-in-charge. Yay!

Join me and Jollibee as we take you once again to the sixteenth birthday celebration of my dreams :) All of these wouldn't have been possible without my mom, atsi Patricia, the Heart at Play Foundation community, and of course, my friends.

Little did I know, my sixteenth birthday celebration did not stop there. When I got home from the Heart at Play Foundation, I was welcomed with 50 helium balloons, letters from friends, a cake bigger than my face, and my very compassionate friends! It was actually the most grandeur surprise I ever had! Thank you so much to the masterminds behind my room makeover haha! This post goes out to you, Kyle (who also gave me a Herschel bag), Meldrick, Steisy, Joao, and Renz (on behalf of Stuart). A huge thank you from the bottom of my heart! <3

I would also like to thank my napaka-effort na BFF Mika Tionson for surprising me with my favorite things (eight pink balloons symbolizing our years of friendship, open when letters, red velvet cupcakes, childhood letters, and lang leav book) early in the morning. Thank you so much <3
Thank you to Melissa Chan for the Breadtalk blueberry cheesecake!!! In less than two days, I actually finished the entire cake by myself haha it was sooo good! My tummy says thank you too!
I did not really expect anything but thank you so much Linnel and Azel for literally surprising me days before my 16th birthday. What did I do to have such thoughtful friends like the two of you?!! The best talaga kayo >:)<
