Summer in Balesin
Whenever I think of a place where
I can lay back and relax, I always picture myself working up a tan in Maldives
or fighting the cold in Iceland. Maybe it's because I enjoy traveling to
foreign lands so much that I often look past the many beautiful spots in my own
country – the Philippines. I’m glad that four days of my summer 2018, however,
were spent enjoying the beauty of Balesin Island Club once again.
Yes, I am throwing it back to March 28 of the year 2018. I thought I’d bring out the old photos since I’m feeling a little nostalgic today :)

I
have been dying to return to Balesin since the first time I visited the island in 2016. If you've read my first blog post about it, you probably know that I only traveled with my father and his friends that time.
Thus, I was not able to take much photos despite the entire place being Instagram
gold. Now, I'm just so glad that I got to visit it again with my entire family!
My family and I arrived at around 7:30 in the morning and stayed in a villa in the Balesin Village because according to locals, this village has the best beach by far :)
Whether I head to the beach early in the morning or late in the afternoon, I would still enjoy digging my toes into the smooth, white sand and taking a dip in the sea.
Everyone knows that no visit to the island would ever be complete without some fun under the sun, and of course, village hopping! Thankfully, guests are able to enjoy the serene atmosphere
more considering that there are less people in this private island.

I made the most out of this opportunity as well and took hundreds of photos throughout our stay. Nature’s colors are just too beautiful to
resist, don’t you agree?
